Who am i?
Zaynab Salim is a teacher, coach, mentor, speaker and founder of Elevate Education Consultancy.
Through her role as an educator mentor and coach, Zaynab has helped many teachers work on their well-being, empowerment, resilience, and excellence both in the school setting and in their personal lives, regardless of their career experience or expertise. She knows, all too well the challenges faced by educators and managing a healthy work/life balance and decided it was time to transform.
Having suffered from chronic workplace stress, also known as burnout, she resigned from her successful role as a Head of Department and went on a journey of self-discovery, clearing her mind of the negative thoughts, chatter, and boundaries she picked up along the way and participated in countless transformation sessions to shift her mindset. This new mindset sent her on a mission of self-discovery and alignment and understanding emotions, values, and deep-seated negative experiences that linger in the shadows of your subconscious.
This journey motivated Zaynab to complete Growth Coaching International’s Coach Training Program, focusing on Education and educators, and supporting them in a psychologically safe manner, along with Authentic Educations Accelerated Coaching Certification to transform her life and career through understanding habits, breaking free of limiting beliefs and aligning her role and values. This new mindset went on to see Zaynab present at the ISSA conference in Melbourne on the topic of Teacher Wellbeing and was awarded Excellence and Innovation in Teaching in 2023 by Crescent Wealth.
Zaynab’s mission is to help teachers make conscious decisions about their lives and careers. She wants to empower, support, and help grow teachers to live a life that is balanced and fulfilling.
