At Elevate Education Consultancy, we understand the challenges that teachers face both in and out of the classroom. So in 2025 we have decided to expand our reach and offer our services to schools to implement coaching process to support the development of competency, confidence and self-efficacy. Our in-school coaching program is tailored to their individual needs and thrives on offering one to one support, professional learning, observation and feedback linked to the Australian Professional Teaching Standards.
Professional Learning offered to teachers who are part of the program to assist with the reflective process. For example, HITS allows teachers to reflect on their own teaching practice and determine areas of strength and opportunities for growth and development.
Observations will occur twice a term and where required. The first of the observations will take place after the first PL and once coach and teacher rapport has been built through the coaching conversation. The second observation will take place at the end of a coaching cycle. (Video observation will take place to ensure teacher can reflect on their practice when they are able to see themselves in action).
Coaching and Mentoring can be described as a partnership between coach and teacher. They develop autonomy, self-efficacy and growth through coaching cycles that can occur anywhere between a 2-week period or a term, or until the teacher has achieved the goal.
